Os Fósseis de Santa Maria (Açores)
This book describes the Pleistocene outcrop of Prainha, which is dated from 135-117 ky. This fossiliferous site is located in the southern shores of Santa Maria Island (Azores), surrounded by warm waters and isolated sand beaches.
This publication is the first of a collection of books dealing with the fossils of Santa Maria Island and intends to disseminate the scientific knowledge that has accumulated since the beggining of the research by members of the MPB working group of the University of the Azores and collaborators.
